LD, JK & DM; 13, 2009/ 43, Arkadia county, Tetrazi Mts., Ag. Theodora, rocky maple forest, 490m, N37°21.269’ E21°58.782’, 0 5.04.2009, leg. LD, JK & DM.

Distribution in the Balkans. Greece: Ladha, Taygetos (type locality) ( Attems 1903), Mistras, 500m, 7km E of Sparta, Taygetos Mts. ( Strasser 1967).

World distribution. Endemic to the Taygetos Mts., Peloponnese, Greece.

Remarks. The new material supports Strasser’s (1967) observation on the lateral caudal process of the opisthomere (lcp on Figs 19–21 ), which again proved to be variable: on the specimens from Paradisa it is a simple process ( sensu Attems (Strasser 1967)) ( Fig. 19 ), on those from the other two localities it is more or less serrated ( sensu Strasser (1967)) ( Figs 20–21 ). It is the second species of the subgenus Dittozus Attems, 1940 , but its validity was seriously questioned by Strasser (1967).
