Material examined. NHMW: Inv. No. 3119: gonopods, questioned syntype, slide preparation, Pantokrator; HNHM: Greece: 13, 2ƤƤ, No. 866/1889, Corfu Island, Julus austriacus det. Daday.

Distribution in the Balkans. Greece: Corfu Island, under Pantokrator, Pelleka (today: Pelekas), Kastrades Peninsula (type locality) ( Attems 1903).

World distribution. Endemic to the island of Corfu, Greece.

Remarks. The only Megaphyllum species on the island, represented by two subspecies.
