Auricillocoris Schuh View in CoL

( Fig. 12 View FIGURE 12 )

Auricillocoris Schuh, 1984: 76 View in CoL (n. gen.), type species by original designation: A. zamboanga Schuh,1984 View in CoL ; Schuh, 1995: 211 (cat.).

Diagnosis. See Schuh (1984). Dorsal habitus image of the holotype male of A. coonoor is available on a website: http://www.discoverlife.org.

Discussion. This type genus of the tribe Auricillocorini is presumably most closely related to Zaratus Distant , on the basis of similarity of the external appearance and male genitalia. Auricillocoris is composed of rare species, with only 15 specimens having so far been known. No information on the biology and morphology of the female genitalia is currently available.
