Neotrombicula vulgaris Schluger, 1955

Material studied: Five larvae from Seferler reservoir, Aydin province, Türkiye, 37° 28' 51.3" N, 27° 57' 29.2" E, 780 m a.s.l., Alperen Kapankaya and Alireza Saboori col. , one larva on 26 July 2022, four larvae on 22 September 2022. All specimens are deposited in the Acarological Collection , Acarology Laboratory , Department of Plant Protection , Faculty of Agriculture, Aydin Adnan Menderes University, Aydin, Türkiye .

Remarks

Previously, two larvae of N. vulgaris were collected from Apodemus flavicollis Melchior, 1834 ( Mammalia: Rodentia ) in Çanakkale province, Türkiye ( Stekolnikov & Daniel, 2012). In this study, we present metric data of N. vulgaris collected off-host via pitfall traps from Aydin province ( Table 5).
