Distribution:—Chile (Parinacota), Peru (Tacna), and western Bolivia (La Paz, Oruro). Xenophyllum ciliolatum (Gray) Funk (1997: 239) . Werneria ciliolata Gray (1861: 140) . Type:— PERU. Junín: Andes Peru, Casa Cancha, sine data, Capt. Wilkes Expedition s.n. (lectotype, designated here: US 00037299 (digital image!); isolectotype: GH s.n. (digital image!)).
Distribution:— Peru (Arequipa, Ayacucho, Cusco, Huancavélica, Junín, Lima, Moquegua, Puno). Further collections are needed in order to accurately delimit the distribution area of this species.
