Eotetranychus rubiphilus (Reck, 1948) View in CoL

This species occurs on many plant species belonging to Rosaceae , especially Rubus sp. but it has also been recorded on Vitis sp. and Vitis vinifera .

Specimens examined — 20 ♀♀ and 20 ♂♂ Rubus sp. (Rosaceae) , Latakia, Al Qanjara (35°34’43.70"N, 35°48’29.68"E), 13-IV-2012 GoogleMaps .

World distribution and Remarks — It has been reported from Europe and Asia ( Gutierrez and Helle 1983; Migeon et al., 2007; Migeon and Dorkeld 2006 -2013). This is the first report of this species in the Middle East.
