Lipogomphus lacuniferus Berg, 1879

Geographical distribution: Brazil, Bolivia, Paraguay, Argentina and Uruguay.

Distribution in Brazil: Southeast Region (MG) ( Melo & Nieser 2004; Souza et al 2006).

Comments: This species probably also occurs in the Central-West Region (MT, MS). Poi de Neiff (2003) reported the occurrence of the species along the Paraguay River, and some of the collecting stations were located on these two Brazilian states.
