Type material. Syntypes, Department of Geology and Paleontology, Faculty of Natural Sciences Comenius University Bratislava ( Slovakia) .

Type locality. Nižná Myšľa ( Slovakia) .

Stratigraphy. Middle Miocene, Sarmatian (Volhynian).

Discussion. Already Švagrovský (1971) recognized that this species is based on juvenile shells of Tiaracerithium pictum .

Central Paratethys. Sarmatian, Volhynian (Middle Miocene): Eastern Slovakian Basin: Nižná Myšľa ( Slovakia) ( Švagrovský 1954).
