Type material. Georgian National Museum , Tbilisi ( Georgia) .

Type locality. Krasnyi Kut ( Russia) .

Stratigraphy. Late Miocene, early Maeotian.

Discussion. This species is based on moderately stout specimen of Lampanella maeotica ( Karlov, 1932) .

Eastern Paratethys. Early Maeotian: Crimea: Cape Krasnyi Kut.
