Type material. We are not aware of the whereabouts of the type specimens.

Type locality. Valea Cetatui ( Romania) .

Stratigraphy. Late Miocene, Sarmatian (Bessarabian).

Discussion. A slender morph of Tiaracerithium pictum with reduced sculpture.

Eastern Paratethys. Sarmatian, Bessarabian (Late Miocene): Moldavian Platform: Valea Cetatui, Oprişeni ( Romania) ( Fontannes 1887; Simionescu & Barbu 1940); Mehadia Basin: Valea Tudoroviţa, Valea Svinea Mare, Valea Svinea Mică ( Romania) (Hinculov in Iliescu et al. 1968).
