Remarks. This species is known by a single female which is very similar with males of H. keyensis (female of latter species is unknown). Probably both species are conspecific but more material as well as reexamination of the type specimens is in need.
Distribution. Indonesia (Java Island). The records from Malaysia ( Blackith, 1992) and from Palawan Island in the Philippines ( Kevan, 1966, as Hyboella sp. aff. similis ) are doubtful.
