Records from Turkey: Erzurum Province ( Boyacı & Özkan 2007a; Esen et al. 2010a); Konya Province (Boyacı & Özkan 1994; Esen et al. 2010a).
Habitat: Crenophilous; with a preference for rheohelocrenes.
Distribution: Europe – exact distribution still unclear due to former confusion with S. glandulosus .
