World distribution: Afghanistan, China, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Russia [not India] ( Navás 1931b: 87; Tjeder 1936: 11; H. Aspöck & U. Aspöck 1966: 77; Makarkin 1996b: 16; Monserrat 2000: 78; Oswald 2024a).
Note: No occurrence records are currently known from modern India. Previous Indian occurrence citations ( Navás 1931b: 87) refer to the type locality, Quetta , which was located in pre-partition British India but is now part of Pakistan.
