The listings for the three genera that comprise this family had a number of mistakes, which are simply corrected below to what the checklist should indicate from the revision of Nelson & Bellamy (1991).

Dystaxia LeConte, 1886 Dystaxia elegans Fall, 1905 Dystaxia murrayi LeConte, 1886 (despite being the type species, this was listed under Glyptoscelimorpha , with its two synonyms: D. lecontei Thomson, 1878 and D. murrayi cuprea Knull, 1947)
