The listings for the three genera that comprise this family had a number of mistakes, which are simply corrected below to what the checklist should indicate from the revision of Nelson & Bellamy (1991).
Dystaxia LeConte, 1886 Dystaxia elegans Fall, 1905 Dystaxia murrayi LeConte, 1886 (despite being the type species, this was listed under Glyptoscelimorpha , with its two synonyms: D. lecontei Thomson, 1878 and D. murrayi cuprea Knull, 1947)
Glyptoscelimorpha (Dystaxiella) Knull, 1940 (listed as Syn. of Glyptoscelimorpha ) (valid subgenus)
Glyptoscelimorpha (Dystaxiella) juniperae (Knull, 1940)
Glyptoscelimorpha (Dystaxiella) juniperae viridiceps Nelson , in Nelson & Bellamy, 1991 (listed as Syn. of G. (D.) juniperae ) (valid subspecies)
Glyptoscelimorpha (s. str.) marmorata Horn, 1893
Glyptoscelimorpha (s. str.) viridis Chamberlin, 1931
Yermoella Obenberger, 1939 (synonym)
Schizopus laetus LeConte, 1858 and the single synonym Yermoella helferi Obenberger, 1939 , listed as Schizopus halferi (sic!) Unav. (synonym, in no way unavailable)
