TYPE: “ Ecuador. Zamora-Chichipe : Río Nangaritza ca. 28 km S of Guayzimi, near Cabaños Yankuam, abundant on living leaves on trees in the periodically inundated banks of the river, with Odontolejeunea lunulata , Ceratolejeunea coarina and Drepanolejeunea biocellata , ca. 900 m a.s.l., 13 September 2008, S. R. Gradstein 12073 (holotype, QCA; isotypes, GOET, MG)” .
