Sphaerista emeljanovi Kerzhner, 1964 

Distributed in semi-deserts and deserts of the south-east of the European part of Russia, Kazakhstan, and northern Uzbekistan. Bugs were collected on sandy desert under Artemisia  . Kerzhner (1964) noted Artemisia  subg. Seriphidium  as a host plant for the species. First record for China.

Material examined. 2 Ƥ, Desert near rd 217 Altai-Buerjin, 630 m, 47 ° 42 ’ N, 84 ° 40 ’ E, 30.VI. 2011 (N. Vinokurov).
