Distribution. India: Western Himalaya ( Heslop-Harrison 1946, as Psylla crataegi ).

Host plant. Crataegus sp. ( Rosaceae ).

Comments. Cacopsylla crataegi is a West Palaearctic species with only two records from elsewhere: India and Iran ( Burckhardt & Lauterer 1993). The record from India needs confirmation.
