Distribution: Canada: AB, BC, MB ( Maw et al. 2000), SK ( Scudder & Thomas 1987). United States: AZ, CA, CO, ID, KS, MT, ND, NE, NM, NV, OR, SD, TX ( Chittenden 1898, Gaines 1933), UT, WA, WY ( Buxton et al. 1983). ( Mexico)
Comments: Records of this species from central and eastern North America should be referred to Chlorochroa persimilis .
