Distribution: Canada: ON ( Maw et al. 2000, Roch 2020), QC. United States: AL, CT, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN ( Blatchley 1926, Furth 1974), KS ( Popenoe 1885), LA, MA, MI, MN ( Koch et al. 2014), MO, MS, NC (Torre- Bueno 1913, Brimley 1938), NJ, NY, OH, PA, VA ( Banks 1912, Hoffman 1971).
Comments: This species was listed in Froeschner (1988) in the genus Acrosternum , and in the emended form pennsylvanicum ; Henry & Froeschner (1992) noted that the original spelling, pensylvanicum, should be retained.
