Tylospilus Stål, 1870 View in CoL View at ENA
This genus was first proposed as a subgenus of Podisus , and this is where most workers treated the included species until Thomas (1992) elevated Tylospilus to a full genus. Tylospilus currently contains eight species, all of which are neotropical in distribution; the single species listed below extends northward into the southern U.S. The species were keyed and reviewed by Thomas (1992).
