Triomicrus nanlingensis Shen and Yin View in CoL , new species

( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 )

Type material (3 ♂♂). Holotype: China: ♂, labeled ‘ China: Guangdong Province, Ruyuan Hsien (viiAEA), Nanling N. R. (*≷), Laopengerdui (+*∴), 24°54’57’’N, 113°02’10’’E, mixed forest, leaf litter, sifted, 850 m, 03.v.2015, Peng, Tu, Zhou leg.’ ( SNUC). Paratypes: China: 1 ♂, labeled ‘ China: Guangdong Province, Ruyuan Hsien, Nanling N. R., Disilindao (), 24°55’47’’N, 112°59’50’’E, mixed forest, leaf litter, wood, sifted, 1500 m, 05.v.2015, Peng, Tu, Zhou leg.’ ( SNUC); 1 ♂, also from Nanling N. R., ‘Walkway, 24°55’57’’N, 113°00’18’’E, mixed forest, leaf litter, wood, sifted, 1220 m, 28.iv.2015, Peng, Tu, Zhou leg.’ ( SNUC).

Diagnosis. Antennomere XI with moderately prominent disc-like protuberance near base. Head with median vertexal carina. Pronotum entirely and densely punctate. Elytral subhumeral sulci long, reaching level of metacoxae. Profemora simple, protrochanters and protibiae lacking protuberance, mesotibiae lacking spur. Apical lamina of abdominal sternite VII composed of two sclerites. Aedeagus with right paramere curved laterally, internal sac bearing several sclerotized spines and several densely hairy sclerites.

Description. Male ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 A). Length 1.90–2.05 mm. Head longer than wide, HL 0.38–0.42 mm, HW 0.40– 0.42 mm, with median vertexal carina; lateral portions of frons finely and sparsely punctate; each eye composed of about 32 facets. Antennomere XI ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 B, 5C) with moderately prominent disc-like protuberance near base, diameter of protuberance about one-sixth of segmental length. Pronotum wider than long, PL 0.40–0.45 mm, PW 0.45–0.47 mm, with fine and sparse punctation. Profemora simple, protrochanters, and protibiae lacking protuberance, mesotibiae lacking spur. Elytra wider than long, EL 0.73–0.75 mm, EW 0.78–0.80 mm, smooth; subhumeral sulci long, reaching level of metacoxae. Abdomen wider than long, AL 0.35–0.41 mm, AW 0.70–0.73 mm; abdominal tergite IV (first visible tergite) with discal carinae extending to three-fifths of tergal length; abdominal sternite VII modified ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 D), with apical lamina composed of two sclerites, left one narrowed near base, rounded at apex of lateral margin, right one very small. Length of aedeagus ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 E) 0.29 mm, right paramere curved laterally, internal sac bearing several sclerotized spines and several densely hairy sclerites.

Female. Unknown.

Discussion. The new spices is morphologically closet to T. damingensis Shen, Yin & Li, 2015 in a similar general habitus ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 A), the form of the protuberance of the antennomere XI ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 B, 5C) and the structure of the aedeagus ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 E). Males of these two species can be separated by the presence of two sclerites on the abdominal sternite VII in T. nanlingensis ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 D), whereas T. damingensis only has one sclerite on the sternite VII.

Distribution. Southern China: Guangdong.
