Range: —Guayana Shield and southeastern Venezuela, Andes from Venezuela to Bolivia (CO, LP, SC).

Ecology: —Uncommon; open habitats in humid montane forests; 1550–3300 m.

Range: —Southern Brazil; Bolivia (BE, LP).

Ecology: —Rare; in humid forests; 450–1600 m, elsewhere to 2750 m.

Notes: —This species was long overlooked, but its distinctness was shown by Prado & Lellinger (1996).
