Sticherus jacha J.Gonzales, Phytotaxa View in CoL 31: 29–30, f. 11. 2011.
Range: —Endemic to Bolivia (CO, LP).
Ecology: —Locally common; along roadsides and on landslides, in humid forests; 2100–2750 m.
Notes: —Superficially resembling S. melanoblastus , but plants more robust with conspicuous pseudostipules and larger scales. Scale darkening in S. jacha proceeds from the scale base, whereas in S. melanoblastus it starts at the scale center and extends towards the apex and margin, leaving the base hyaline.
