Specimens examined. [Hokkaido]: 1 ♀, “Hokkaido- 2 (86), 14. VII. Shikotsu, Daikonsou [= Geum japonicum  ], last instar, amber color, emerged 9. V. 87 ”; 1 ♀, “Hokkaido- 5 (86), 14. VII. Shikotsu, Onishimotsuke [= Filipendula camtschatica  ], C, emerged 15. V. 87 ”. All in MNHAH.

Host plants. Rosaceae  : Geum japonicum  , Filipendula camtschatica (Pall.) Maxim.
