Material. Holotype PIN 2083 /249±, tegmen, Madygen (SW area). Paratypes PIN 2083/257, 2971/191±, 209±, 3288/ 340 ±, tegmina, Madygen (SW area).

Description. Tegmen broad, 5.7–6.7 mm long, fuscous, usually with pale, smooth (translucent?) patches. Surface sculpture more dense in costal space. Main veins, including ambient vein, beset with granules. R forked about tegmen midlength. M slightly S-shaped about nodal level. Basal cell closed by indistinct arculus (PIN 2971/209) or M+CuA anastomosis. Distal CuA weakly diverging from CuP.

Etymology. Latin ansatus (provided with handle(s)).
