Type locality: [ China, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Tian-Shan Mts, Ürümqi , ca. N43–44°] “Urumtschi im Thian-Schan-Gebirge, also aus 43–44° nördlicher Breite” ( Verhoeff 1934) .

Previous records. Kazakhstan: Almaty Region —Chu-Ili Mts [Kz16] ( Farzalieva et al. 2017a).
Habitat records. Stony mountain steppe with rocks on 850–950 m ( Farzalieva et al. 2017a).
Remarks. This species is also known from NW China (Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region) ( Verhoeff 1934; Ma et al. 2014) and W Mongolia ( Farzalieva et al. 2017a; Dyachkov 2017c).
