Material. Holotype, ♀, “Doryc. 496 ”( IEBR), NW Vietnam: Hoa Binh, Yen Thuy, Hang Tram , fruit orchard, MT, 20°23’47’’N 105°36’14’’E, 55 m, 10.v.2002, KDLong GoogleMaps . Paratype, 1♀, “Doryc. 055 ”( IEBR), NW Vietnam: Hoa Binh, Yen Thuy, Lac Thinh , forest, MT, 20°23’06’’N 105°34’11’’E, 315 m, 20–30.v.2003, KDLong GoogleMaps .

Description. Female, body length 2.5 mm; fore wing length 2.2 mm; ovipositor 1.2 mm ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 ).

Head. Antenna filiform, incomplete, with 24 flagellomeres remaining; scapus length dorsally 1.5 × as long as its maximum width; first flagellomere 1.1 × as long second flagellomere; in dorsal view, head width 1.5 × its median length; head roundly narrowed below eyes; occipital carina complete medio-dorsally; median length of head 4.0 × as long as temple ( Fig. 4A View FIGURE 4 ); height of eye 2.75 × temple; temple roundly narrowed behind eye; ocelli small, basal side of ocellar triangle 1.3 × lateral sides; OOL: OD: POL = 4.0: 1.5: 1.5 ( Fig.4 A View FIGURE 4 ); in frontal view, eye 2.6 × as high as broad; malar space with long stae, and 0.5 × height of eye, and 1.5 × basal width of mandible; face width 1.1 × height of eye, and 1.4 × height of face and clypeus combined ( Fig. 2B View FIGURE 2 ); hypoclypeal depression width 0.7 × as long distance from edge of depression to eye, 0.3 × as wide as face, and as wide as basal width of mandible; distance between tentorial pits 0.5 × as long as long distance from pit to eye, in lateral view, in lateral view, maxillary palp 1.3 × as long as head length; occipital carina complete medio-dorsally, not joined below with hypostomal carina upper base of mandible ( Fig. 4C View FIGURE 4 ); transverse diameter of eye 2.5 × length of temple; length of maxillary palp 1.35 × height of head (without mandible); frons almost flat, finely granulate; vertex and temple finely granulate; face setose, granulate ( Fig. 4B View FIGURE 4 ).

Mesosoma. Length of mesosoma 2.0 × its height ( Fig. 4E View FIGURE 4 ); pronotal side crenulate anteriorly, with transverse striae posteriorly; precoxal sulcus deep amd wide, smooth ( Fig. 4E View FIGURE 4 ); mesopleuron rugo-granulate dorsally, smooth ventrally; metapleron densely granulate; pronotum with median transverse carina deviding it into two equal parts; anterior area smooth; notauli sparsely crenulate anteriorioly, widened posteriorly; mesoscutum granulate, densely setose; prescutellar depression deep, 0.5 × as long as scutellum, scutellum finely granulate ( Fig. 4D View FIGURE 4 ); propodeum with marginate areola posteriorly, and median carina in basal 0.3 of propodeum; basolateral areas marginate, mostly rugo-punctate; propodeal areola transversely rugulose ( Fig. 4F View FIGURE 4 ).

Wings. Fore wing 3.3 × as long as its maximum width; pterostigma 4.0 × as long as wide; vein r arising slightly after middle of pterostigma; vein 1-R1 1.3 × as long as pterostigma; vein 3-SR 2.4 × vein r, and 0.5 × vein SR1, and 1.2 × vein 2-SR; second submarginal cell of fore wing parallel-sided, rather broad, basal length of the cell 3.0 × as long as its maximum width ( Fig. 4K View FIGURE 4 ), and 1.4 × as long as first subdiscal cell; first subdiscal cell rectangularly closed on level of vein m-cu; vein 1-CU1 as long as cu-a ( Fig. 4K View FIGURE 4 ). Hind wing narrow, 5.9 × as long as its maximum width; vein M+CU 0.7 × vein 1-M; vein 1-M 4.75 × vein 1r-m.

Legs. Fore tarsus 1.4 × as long as fore tibia; inner side of fore tibia with raw of 6 spines; hind coxa finely and densely granulate; hind femur, tibia and basitarsus 3.3, 8.5, and 7.5 × their maximum width, respectively; hind femur with short sparse semi-erected setae ventrally, length of seta 0.6 × as long as maximum width of femur; outer side of hind tibia with sparse semi-erected setae as long as maximum width of hind tibia; inner tibial spur 0.25 × as long as basitarsus; hind tarsus 0.4 × as long as hind tibia; basitarsus 0.6 × as long as second-fifth tarsus combined; second tarsus 0.5 × as long as basitarsus, and 1.2 × as long as telotarsus (without pretarsus); fourth tarsus 0.6 × telotarsus.

Metasoma. Metasoma 2.1 × as long as head and mesosoma combined; first tergite gradually widened from base to apex; maximum width of first tergite 1.5 × its minimum width ( Fig. 4G View FIGURE 4 ); length of first metasomal tergite as long as apical width, and 1.1 × length of propodeum; first metasomal tergite with baso-lateral carinae, longitudinally striate entirely; length of second tergite 0.7 × as long as its basal width, and 0.7 × length of third tergite ( Fig. 4G View FIGURE 4 ); second tergite with smooth basal area separated with crenulate furrow ( Fig. 4G View FIGURE 4 ); third tergite with smooth wide basal area, separated with wide crenulate furrow, striate laterally, mostly smooth medio-apically ( Figs 4H, I View FIGURE 4 ); fourth-fifth tergites longitudinally striate basally, smooth apically; sixth tergite rugo-punctulate basally, with distinct semi-circular striae medially, fine semi-circular striation apically ( Figs 3B View FIGURE 3 , 4H View FIGURE 4 ).

Colour. Head, antenna yellow; palpi pale yellow; all the legs yellow; wing veins yellow; pterostigma yellow, paler basally and apically; mesonotum, mesopleuron reddish-yellow; metapleuron and propodeum dark brown; first-second metasomal tergites dark brown; second-fifth tergites brownish yellow; sixth tergite largely brownish yellow, yellow apically; ovipositor sheath brownish yellow; ovipositor yellow ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 ).

Male. Unknown.

Etymology. The new species is named after the locality (Hoa Binh province, Northwestern Vietnam), where the holotype was collected.
