Head densely and coarsely punctured, without any interspaces, mat; labrum shiny with minute and sparse punctures, clypeus punctured with shiny interspaces; prescutum and scutum densely punctured, interspaces narrow, microsculptured; mesoscutellum densely punctured without interspaces; middle of posttergite shiny, microsculptured laterally; parapsides with large and sparse punctures and dense microsculpture; metapostnotum shiny; middle and upper of mesepisternum densely and coarsely punctured, venter with large and shiny interspaces between small and sparse punctures; anepimeron coarsely punctured, katepimeron microsculptured, posterior shiny; metepisternum with anterior and posterior margin shiny; upper of metepisternum shallowly and densely punctured, venter sparsely punctured, shiny; basin and posterior corner of metepimeron shiny, dorsum with large punctures. Abdomen microsculptured, shiny, lateral edges of 1st abdominal tergite and 6th to 8th abdominal tergites punctured.

Hairs on dorsum of head straight, as long as diameter of lateral ocelli. Clypeus flat, anterior margin truncate; malar space as long as transverse diameter of median ocellus; shortest distance between eyes below antennal sockets in front view 1.1 × as long as eye height; middle fovea broad and deep; interocellar furrow narrow and deep, postocellar furrow broad and shallow; postocellar area 1.7 × as broad as long, obviously lower than top of ocelli; lateral furrows deep, curved, obviously divergent posteriorly; head behind eyes 0.8 × length of eye in dorsal view; curved laterally and then convergent posteriorly; genal carina sharp, complete. Antenna as long as head, thorax, and 1st abdominal tergite together, obviously short than vein C, 2nd antennomere 1.2 × as long as broad, relative length of 3rd to 4th antennomeres as 1.5, 5th to 8th antennomeres weakly compressed, not enlarged, inner and outer sides of 6th to 8th antennomeres with weak furrows, 7th antennomere about 2 × as long as broad. Middle furrow of prescutum distinct; mesoscutellum elevated, slightly higher than scutum. Metabasitarsus 5.5 × as long as broad, about as long as following 3 tarsomeres combined, hind inner tibial spur 0.5 × length of metabasitarsus. Pulvilli of hind tarsus weakly developed, 1st pulvillus 0.5 × basal breadth and 0.3 × apical breadth of metabasitarsus, distance between basal two pulvilli 5 × length of 2nd pulvillus. Ovipositor sheath as long as middle tibia, apical sheath 1.3 × as long as basal sheath. Lancet with 16 serrulae, ( Fig. 9 View FIGURE 9 d), middle serrulae each with 5–6 distal fine teeth ( Fig. 9 View FIGURE 9 q).

Male. Length, 9.5 mm ( Figs 3 View FIGURE 3 d, 5h). Similar to female in structure and color, but base of 1st antennomere black; greatest width of pale posterior margin of pronotum 0.9 × length of lateral ocellus; extreme anterior line of metapleuron black, 1st to 5th abdominal tergites and sternites yellowish brown. Hairs on dorsum of head 1.1 × as long as diameter of lateral ocelli; shortest distance between eyes below antennal sockets in front view as long as eye height; postocellar area 2 × as broad as long, malar space 0.5 × transverse diameter of median ocellus; head in front view with lower interocular distance 0.9 × eye height; head behind eyes 0.4 × eyes in length in dorsal view, curved in middle and narrowing posteriorly. Genitalia as in Figs 10 View FIGURE 10 m, 10n.

Variation. The anterior half of metapleuron of one male and entire 1st antennomere black.
