Description
Antennae in male bipectinate, ramus shorter towards end, the longest ramus about 1.5 times diameter of flagellum, simple filiform apically. Frons with basal half white, upper half green at middle and brown laterally. Labial palpus brown, rough scaled. Vertex white mixed with green. Thorax and abdomen with dorsal side pale green. Hind tibia dilated and with hair-pencil.
Wing pattern. Length of forewing „ 24–25 mm; ♀ 28–29 mm. Wings bluish green, veins white, the latter feature immediately distinguishing it from all other members of the genus. Outer margin of both wings scalloped, slightly incurved between M 1 and M 3 on hindwing. Forewing with costal margin white. Antemedial line on forewing and postmedial line on both wings straight, white, edged with green outside antemedial and inside postmedial line. Postmedial line much broader than antemedial line. Submarginal line white, slightly winding, angled outwards between M 1 and M 3. Terminal line composed of small dots on vein ends. Discal spot on forewing dot-like, dark green, invisible on hindwing. Fringes white. Underside similar to upperside, but much paler.
Male genitalia ( Figures 2C View Figure 2 , 3C View Figure 3 ). Compared to G. papilionaria , uncus gently convex; gnathos broader; costa straighter and broader. Sacculus developed, sclerotized at apex, and with a long, sharp terminal process. Aedeagus stout, only posterior end sclerotized, the latter tapered, blunt, expanded subapically.
Segment 8 ( Figure 5C View Figure 5 ) with tergite strongly protruding and narrowed posteriorly, sternite with a small process at middle, sclerotized posteriorly.
Female genitalia ( Figure 4C View Figure 4 ). Apophyses posteriores much longer than apophyses anteriores. Areas around ostium sclerotized, lamella antevaginalis wrinkled and sclerotized. Ductus bursae very short, antrum V-shaped. Corpus bursae membranous, with posterior one-third narrow, and broader towards anterior end, the other two-thirds very broad. Signum ring-like, with two tiny sharp processes.
