NEW RECORDS

Among the specimens sent to me for determination were two species previously unknown from Panama. The new species and the two new records provided here bring the known alpha diversity for Panama to 57 cicada species. In addition, six undetermined and tentatively new species have been identified in the literature ( Wolda 1989; Wolda and Ramos 1992; Aiello and Stucky 2020), but lack official names.
