Diagnosis (modified from Fonseca & Bezerra, 2014).

Cuticle finely, transversely striated. Anterior sensilla in two circles (6+10). Amphideal fovea circular or oval. Buccal cavity cylindrical, and strongly cuticularized. Pharynx cylindrical without terminal bulb. Spicules elongate and slender. Gubernaculum usually complex with denticulate structures. Male with single anterior outstretched testis to the right of intestine. Female monodelphic with single anterior outstretched ovary to the left of intestine. Tail conico-cylindrical with three terminal seta
