COMMENTS: The AMNH number of the holotype in the original description was a misprint ; AMNH 703280 View Materials is the only specimen of this species collected by Macmillan in the Bunya Mountains . After the outbreak of World War II and the Macmillans’ return to Australia from collecting in New Caledonia, Macmillan’s collecting in Queensland was supported by funds remaining in the Whitney South Sea Expedition account and continued until he entered active military service. For use of 1801 for the date of publication of Latham’s Supplementum Indicis Ornithologici, see Schodde et al. (2010) .
