COMMENTS: Mathews cited his catalog number of the holotype in the original description, giving the range as ‘‘Mid- Queensland.’’ The holotype bears the original label and Mathews and Rothschild type labels. Stalker collected only two specimens (see Ingram, 1908: 475, under M. laetior ). The paratype is AMNH 691544, female, Inkerman, 14 March 1907.
