Etymology. The specific name is an adjective from the Latin word oculatus (eye-shaped), and refers to the anterior part of the epigynal atrium with a pair of eye-shaped depressions.

Diagnosis. This species can be separated from other congeneric species by the epigynum , particularly the pair of eye-shaped depressions and the twisting of the copulatory ducts. The male can be separated from other congeneric species by the shape of the RTA ( Figs 11 View FIGURE 11 B–D, 12A–B).

Description. Female (holotype): Total length 6.30. Prosoma 2.60 long, 2.00 wide; opisthosoma 3.60 long, 2.00 wide. Carapace light yellowish brown with sparse grayish black scales. Ocular area grayish black with grayish white scales. Eye measurements: AME 0.09, ALE 0.21, PME 0.19, PLE 0.19, AME-AME 0.12; AME-ALE 0.07; PME-PME 0.31; PME-PLE 0.32. Eye row width measurement: I 0.27, II 0.64, III 1.15, IV 0.64. Clypeus height 0.52. Opisthosoma anteriorly with yellow spots, posteriorly with yellow chevrons; laterally with grayish black stripes; ventrally grayish.

Epigynum ( Figs 10 View FIGURE 10 B–C, 12C–D). Epigynum with a pair of depressions anteriorly, copulatory ducts twisted, spermathecae globular.

Male (paratype, IZCAS-Ar. 19026): Total length 5.40. Prosoma 2.50 long, 2.00 wide; opisthosoma 2.70 long, 1.50 wide. Body color paler than in female.
