Description (after Liu & Zhang, 2007). Male body larger, stout. Fastigium of vertex conical, stout and furrowed dorsally, apex blunt, compound eyes relatively small; last segment of maxillary palp longer than preceding. Metazona as long as prozona, raised and posterior area decurved, paranota relative deep, hind margin almost obliquely truncate; tegmina exceeding hind margin of pronotum, extending to 5th abdominal tergite, hind wings reduced; fore tibiae each armed spines by type 4, 4 (1, 1), mid tibiae each with 3 inner and 5 outer spines, hind tibiae each with 18 dorsal teeth either margin above. 10th abdominal tergite bearing a faintly compressed process at the middle of hind margin, the process deep divided, terminally slightly globularly expanded, left and right halves asymmetric, a conical tubercle protruding dorsad; epiproct reduced and oval, cerci longer, base slightly stout, lobate expanded at inner margin submedian, tapering to apex, apex blunt; titillator sclerotized in lateral and apical parts; subgenital plate longer than wide, base wider, narrowing apically, hind margin gently concave, styli conical on either side.

Female unknown.

Coloration. Body yellowish with darkish brown stripes or markings. Dorsum of pronotum with brown longitudinal band, expand in metazona, lateral margins inlayed with darkish brown stripes.

Measurements (in mm). Body ♂ 12.5; pronotum ♂ 5.9; tegmina ♂ 3.0; hind femora ♂ 12.7.

Materials. Not examined.

Type locality. Pingbian, Yunnan; type specimen deposits in IZCAS (Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences), Beijing, China.
