( Figs. 1–11 View FIGURES 1 – 11 )

Description. Measurements. Male, body length: 8.72 mm; head width: 1.94 mm; crown length×width: 0.85× 1.09 mm; eye width: 0.58 mm; clypeus length: 1.40 mm; pronotum length×width: 0.89× 2.30 mm; mesonotum length: 1.18 mm. female, unknown.

External morphology. Crown brown, eyes and ocelli dark brown ( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 1 – 11 ). Face brown ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 1 – 11 ). Pronotum dark brown, densely covered with light brown granules; mesonotum brown with sparse light brown granules ( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 1 – 11 ). Forewing brown with venation darker-brown, A1 and A2 with pale spots apically, R1 with an irregular light spot ( Fig. 1, 4 View FIGURES 1 – 11 ). Legs brown ( Fig. 4 View FIGURES 1 – 11 ).

Head narrower than pronotum, anterior margin arched; crown broader than eye width, extending beyond eyes about 1/4 median length, lateral margins weakly attenuated basally; coronal suture short, reaching 1/3 length of midline; ocelli near anterior margin of crown ( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 1 – 11 ). Face with clypeus long, lateral margins slightly convergent; clypellus short, with base weakly inflated ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 1 – 11 ). Crown, pronotum and mesonotum midline ratio about 1:1:1.4. Forewings typical ( Fig. 4 View FIGURES 1 – 11 ).

Male genitalia. Pygofer in lateral view with caudoventral lobe narrow ( Fig. 5 View FIGURES 1 – 11 ), caudodorsal processes slender ( Fig. 6 View FIGURES 1 – 11 ). Segment X ventral processes broad in lateral view, tapered apically ( Fig. 5 View FIGURES 1 – 11 ). Aedeagus tubular, almost half length of ventral paraphysis; ventral paraphysis broad basally, abruptly tapered to narrow apex near midlength ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 1 – 11 ), lateral margin with blunt projection medially in lateral view ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 1 – 11 ); apex truncated in lateral aspect ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 1 – 11 ). Style long, sinuate narrowed in middle, inner margin with subapical process ( Fig. 7 View FIGURES 1 – 11 ) or serrate ( Fig. 8 View FIGURES 1 – 11 ); connective broadly Y-shaped ( Fig. 7 View FIGURES 1 – 11 ). Dorsal connective U-shaped ( Fig. 6 View FIGURES 1 – 11 ). Subgenital plate relatively broad, tapered to rounded apex, with row of macrosetae distally, marginal setae short and fine ( Fig. 11 View FIGURES 1 – 11 ).

Material examined. Holotype: male, CHINA: Dianba Village , Wenxian County, Gansu Province, 950m, 15 JUN 1998, coll. Ling-Huan Yang . Paratypes: 1 male, same data as holotype ; 1 male, CHINA: Anjiangping, Huaping Nature Reserve , Guangxi Province, 1 AUG 2006, coll. Lin Lv, No . Hm014764. (NWAFU)

Etymology. The specific epithet is named after the locality of the holotype, Gansu Province.

Remarks. This species keyed to T. zhengi ( Zhang, 1994: 18) in Zhang's (1994) key but differs in shape of the paraphysis. It is also similar to T. perserrula ( Zhang, 1994: 48) in external appearance and general shape of the ventral paraphysis but can be distinguished by shape of the style apex and lateral margin of the ventral paraphysis with blunt projection, not serrated.
