Description. See Li et al. (2012) for both sexes. Habitus, male pedipalp and epigyne are photographed here ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 A–H)

to facilitate species identification of Artoria from Malaysia.

Diagnosis. This species is similar to A. ligulacea ( Qu, Peng & Yin, 2009) ( Li et al. 2012: 40, figs 4A–I, 5A–E), but

differs from the latter by the long and bifurcate median apophysis, the small tegulum of male pedipalp ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 C–F) and

the short spermatheca stalk of epigyne ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 G–H).
