Distribution

Endemic to the Ross Sea.

Remarks

The third species of the E. perdentatus complex is endemic to the Ross Sea, or at least it has not yet been recorded anywhere else. However, the specimens sequenced by Baird et al. (2011) were not available for the present study, and their morphology could therefore not be examined.
