Distribution ( Fig. 7View FIGURE 7). A micro-endemic species of the Moroccan Rif. It is known only from four localities in the Rif: in the region between Ketama and Bab Berred at 1520 m, near the coast Imaziten 320 m ( Sánchez-Ortega & Azzouz 1998), between Ketama and Bab Bissen at 1600 m and Mount Tidirhine between 1500 and 1900 m (Errochdi et al. 2014).

Ecology. Larvae are crenophilic occurring primarily in springs and brooklets, and are detritivores. Adult emergence period is in the cold season, from autumn to spring (XI –VII).
