Types. Holotype ♂, CHINA, Yunnan, Longling County, Longjiang Township, Xiaoheishan Nature Reserve ( Gucheng mountain ), 24.82886°N, 98.75917°E,alt. 2010m, in the forest, 26 May 2005, Heng-mei Yan leg. ( GKJ026 ) GoogleMaps . Paratypes: 4♀, same data as holotype ( GKJ026 ) GoogleMaps .

Etymology. This epithet derives from the Latin adjective “ dentefaber ”, meaning “spike” and referring to cephalic region with spike-like long thick macrosetae in the male.

Diagnosis. See genus diagnosis.

Description. Male (holotype, Figs 8A, B View FIGURE 8 , 9A–C View FIGURE 9 ): Total length: 3.05. Carapace 1.21 long, 0.98 wide, with cephalic lobe 0.61 long with eyes, ocular quad densely covered with long thick macrosetae, brown; fovea, cervical and radial grooves distinct. Cephalic pits absent Clypeus 0.38 high, relatively grooved, forming a concave surface, with several microsetae. Sternum longer than wide, dark brown, sparsely covered with microsetae. Labium wider than long. Maxillae long, distal end broad with scopulae.

Chelicerae with four promarginal and four retromarginal teeth. Eyes: AER recurved, PER straight, slightly wider than AER. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.06, ALE 0.10, PME 0.09, PLE 0.12, AME–AME 0.04, PME–PME 0.12, AME–ALE, 0.12, PME–PLE 0.09, AME–PME 0.31, ALE–ALE 0.48, PLE–PLE 0.53, ALE–PLE contiguous. Length of legs: I 6.11 (1.68, 1.81, 1.64, 0.98), II 5.6 (1.59, 1.74, 1.40, 0.87), III 4.12 (1.25, 1.21, 0.99, 0.87), IV 5.06 (1.38, 1.61, 1.32, 0.75). Leg formula I-II-IV-III. Tm I 0.68 and Tm IV 0.51. Tibial spine formula: 2-2-1-1. Abdomen 1.84 long, 1.03 wide, oval, dusky gray, mid dorsally with distinct black pattern extending laterally and posteriorly, ventral side dusky gray.

Palp ( Fig. 6A–D View FIGURE 6 ): Tibia conic, with two reterolateral and one dorsal trichobothria, dorsal tibial apophysis with blunt end; paracymbium sclerotized, hook-shaped, distal arm with curved projection, dorsal surface with spines; subtegulum and tegulum sclerotized, almost completely covered by the embolus and median membrane; tegulum with long transparent protegulum protruding above and almost equal to the apex of cymbium; embolic membrane white, thick, spirally coiled along with embolus; tailpiece long, sclerotized, extending ventrally with pointed end; embolus long, sclerotized, black, prominent, about three spiral coils, protruding above the apex of cymbium.

Female (one of paratypes, Fig. 9D, E View FIGURE 9 ): Total length: 3.18. Carapace 1.14 long, 0.98 wide, brown, mid dorsally slightly elevated; fovea, cervical and radial grooves distinct. Clypeus 0.26 high. Sternum wider than long, brown, sparsely covered with microsetae. Labium wider than long. Maxillae long, distal end broad with scopulae. Chelicerae with five promarginal and six retromarginal teeth. Eye region narrow, AER recurved, PER straight, slightly wider than AER. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.06, ALE 0.11, PME 0.11, PLE 0.11, AME–AME 0.04, PME–PME 0.09, AME–ALE, 0.05, PME–PLE 0.08, AME–PME 0.09, ALE–ALE 0.42, PLE–PLE 0.49, ALE– PLE contiguous. Length of legs: I 5.58 (1.65, 1.67, 1.37,

0.89), II 5.31 (1.58, 1.59, 1.29, 0.85), III 3.83 (1.22, 0.99, 0.98, 0.64), IV 4.93 (1.48, 1.35, 1.32, 0.78). Leg formula III-IV-III. Tm I 0.64 and Tm IV 0.42. Tibial spine formula: 2-2-1-1. Abdomen 2.04 long, 1.34 wide, oval, dusky gray, mid dorsally with distinct black pattern extending laterally and posteriorly, ventral side dusky gray.

Epigyne ( Fig. 7A–C View FIGURE 7 ): Ventral plate wider than long, connected with dorsal plate posteriorly; copulatory openings present mesally at the posterior end; dorsal plate sclerotized, wider than long. Vulva with long copulatory ducts, thick, forming spiral coils on the dorsal plate before joining to the spermathecae; spermathecae elliptical, present laterally on dorsal plate, separated by a distance of 2/3 of their diameter; fertilization ducts long, extending mesally.

Distribution. Known only from the type locality ( Fig. 10 View FIGURE 10 ).
