Type species: Lutosus projectis sp. nov. (ŧẌffikƦ)

Etymology. The genus name comes from the Latin adjective “ Lutosus ”, meaning “thick” and refers to the thick spine on the patella of the male palp. Gender is masculine.

Diagnosis. Lutosus gen. nov. can be distinguished from any other Erigoninae genus by the patella of leg I and male palp patella each with a long and thick macrosetae ( Figs 181B–D View FIGURE 181 , 184A, B View FIGURE 184 ); palp tibia with three apophyses ( Fig. 181B, D View FIGURE 181 ); the distal arm of paracymbium with many projections. Embolic division simple with sclerotized embolic membrane and long terminal apophysis; embolus long, curved ( Fig. 181A–C View FIGURE 181 ).
