Types. Holotype ♀, CHINA, Yunnan, Tengchong County, Qingshui Township, Rehai , 24.94861°N, 98.45181°E, alt. 1470m, 1 June 2006, Peng Hu leg. ( YHY17 ). GoogleMaps
Etymology. This epithet derives from the type locality.
Diagnosis. The new species resembles Microlinyphia delesserti (Caporiacco, 1949) in having a similar scape ( Fig. 197A–C View FIGURE 197 ; Helsdingen, 1970, figs 60, 61), but can be distinguished by the spiral tubes with 1.5 coils in M. rehaiensis sp. nov. ( Fig. 197A–C View FIGURE 197 ), whereas the tubes directly enter in spermathecae in M. delesserti ( Helsdingen, 1970, fig. 61).
Description. Female (holotype, Fig. 198A, B View FIGURE 198 ): Total length: 3.72. Carapace 1.55 long, 1.08 wide, yellowish brown; fovea, cervical and radial grooves distinct. Clypeus 0.17 high. Sternum longer than wide, yellowish brown, sparsely covered with microsetae. Labium wider than long. Maxillae long, distal end broad with scopulae. Chelicerae with four promarginal and six retromarginal teeth AER recurved, PER straight, slightly wider. Eye sizes and interdistances:AME 0.09, ALE 0.12, PME 0.09, PLE 0.10, AME–AME 0.05, PME–PME 0.06, AME– ALE, 0.03, PME–PLE 0.09, AME–PME 0.08, ALE–ALE 0.47, PLE–PLE 0.53, ALE–PLE contiguous. Length of legs: I 8.38 (2.24, 2.52, 2.34, 1.28), II 6.73 (1.88, 1.96, 1.85, 1.04), III 4.31 (1.45, 1.21, 0.96, 0.69), IV 6.07 (1.68, 1.76, 1.75, 0.88). Leg formula I-II-IV-III. Tm I 0.77 and Tm IV 0.38. Tibial spine formula: 2-2-2-2. Abdomen 2.17 long, 1.30 wide, oval, dorsally white, mid dorsally with a yellowish brown pattern; ventral side brown with a longitudinal white band.
Epigyne ( Fig. 197A–C View FIGURE 197 ): Scape round posteriorly, curved in ventral direction, ventrally with a socket. In ventral view, epigynal plate densely covered with long, thick spines. Vulva: entrance of spiral tubes located mesally, quite visible in dorsal view of vulva. Spiral tubes with 1.5 coils. Turning points and spermathecae present anteriorly at the apex. Spermathecae small, pointing towards each other. Fertilization duct running through the axis of coils, present laterally.
