General distribution. Canary Islands, Egypt, Iraq, Israel, Oman ( Dollfuss 2010b).
Remark. Roth, 1928 mentioned that the Tunisian specimens from Medenine and Gafsa have affinity to Podalonia hirsuta and then de Beaumont 1968 studied 1 female from Medenine and assigned it as Podalonia marismortui .
