Comment: Here transferred from the genus Bacteria Berthold, 1827 . Examination of the specimen places this species in the genus Paraleptynia Caudell, 1904 , which is restricted to south-central South America. This is for instance, seen in the slender, cylindrical and elongate head, short antennae that are notably shorter than the profemora and morphology of the terminalia.
