Rasahus brasiliensis Coscarón, 1983 View in CoL

R. brasiliensis View in CoL has been recorded from Costa Rica, Panama, Guyana, Surinam, Ecuador, Peru, Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay ( Coscarón 1983; Maldonado 1990). Although widespread in the Neotropical region, it has not been mentioned from Colombia. The specimens examined below represent a new record from Colombia.

Material examined: COLOMBIA, 1ɗ, Meta, Cubarral [03º46'N 73º50'W], Hda. Belalcázar, 600 m, 23­XII­1969, JEMS­JVRM / ICN­MHN 0 215 [ UNCB]; 1Ψ, Meta, Acacías [03º59'N 73º45'W], 523 m, 21­VII­1977, García & Hozman / ICN­MHN 0 216 [ UNCB].
