Range: —Antilles; Costa Rica and Panama; Andes from Venezuela to Bolivia (BE, CO, LP, SC); southeastern Brazil.

Ecology: —Common; epiphytic and saxicolous in humid forests; (650–)1100–2950(–3100) m.
