Range: —Known with certainty only from Bolivia (CO, LP, SC), but probably more widespread in the tropical Andes.
Ecology: —Common; epiphytic and, less commonly, terrestrial in humid forests; 700–2950 m.
Notes: —Typically occurs at lower elevations than E. andicola , but there is ample overlap. Some intermediates cannot be assigned with certainty to either species. Variable, possibly a species complex.
