Range: — Ecuador to Bolivia (CO, LP).

Ecology: —Fairly common; epiphytic and saxicolous in humid forests; (800–) 1000–2550 m.

Notes: — Elaphoglossum amphioxys Mickel from Peru may occur in northwestern Bolivia. It resembles E. guentheri but differs by having narrower leaves with longer-decurrent bases, and occurs below 800 m.
