Range: — Bolivia (CO, LP, SC, TA) and northwestern Argentina.

Ecology: —Fairly common; epiphytic and saxicolous, in humid forests, on rock faces, and on steep, grassy slopes, often in somewhat less humid habitats than the similar E. cuspidatum ; 1000–3500 m.
