Range: — Ecuador to Bolivia (LP).

Ecology: —Locally fairly common; terrestrial and saxicolous on steep, rocky slopes, in humid forests; 1800–3200 m.

Notes: —Some Bolivian specimens have fertile leaves much longer and narrower than the sterile ones and narrowly ovate (vs. usually linear-lanceolate) blades, but the taxonomic significance of this variation is unknown.

Range: —Antilles; mountains from southern Mexico to Venezuela and Bolivia (CO, LP); southeastern Brazil. Ecology: —Fairly common; terrestrial and saxicolous in Bolivia, but also epiphytic elsewhere in its range, on roadsides, cliffs, and rocks, in humid forests; 2050–3800 m.
